Hi friend 🤍
This month has felt different.
Not because everything suddenly made sense or wrapped up neatly, but because I feel like I can see more clearly. It’s like God gently adjusted my focus. Not to remove the hard things, but to help me see Him right in the middle of them.
After months of just holding on, June has felt like a deep breath.
Things are still uncertain. Some prayers are still waiting. But I’ve been noticing God’s presence in ways I hadn’t before, and that’s what’s changing everything.
There have been quiet moments lately where I’ve paused and thought,
“God, You really have been here the whole time, haven’t You?”
I’ve been spending a lot of time in John 14, and it’s brought a kind of peace I didn’t realize I needed. Especially these verses:
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.
If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?”
— John 14:1–2
For a while, I held onto those words out of fear.
I didn’t feel joy or peace, so I assumed I was doing something wrong.
I felt like I had to beg God to make space for me in the chaos.
I believed in His love, but I wasn’t living in the freedom His sacrifice had already made possible.
But that verse hit me in a new way one day.
He’s not only preparing a place for me in eternity.
He’s also preparing me for where He’s leading me right now.
And He’s been doing that all along.
Creating space.
Making room.
In quiet mornings and long walks.
In unexpected provision and answered prayers.
Even in the days that didn’t go how I planned, He’s been steady.
And I’m finally starting to notice.
That noticing has changed how I walk through my days.
I’m not striving like I used to.
I’m not caught up in outcomes.
I’m learning to be aware of His presence and actually enjoy it.
I’m learning to ask for help instead of carrying everything on my own.
To move slower. To breathe deeper. To trust more freely.
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”
— John 14:27
This peace isn’t loud.
It doesn’t demand attention or prove anything.
It simply meets me where I am, quiet and steady.
And lately, I’ve felt it in the stillness.
Like a hand gently resting on my back.
Like a whisper saying, “You’re safe. I’ve got you.”
I’ve seen God breathe on old dreams.
I’ve watched Him open doors I didn’t even know to knock on.
I’ve met people who feel like answers to prayers I barely knew how to pray.
Not because I earned it.
Not because I finally got it together.
But because He is kind.
And He is faithful, even when I’m tired or unsure.
There is still a lot ahead that I don’t know.
But I’m no longer afraid of the waiting.
Because I know who is waiting with me.
If you’re in a season of waiting or wondering, or just trying to hold it all together, I want to remind you:
Jesus sees you.
He hasn’t forgotten your prayers.
He hasn’t missed your tears.
He is preparing good things.
And He is preparing you too.
This Week: Start a Gratitude List
If your heart feels heavy or your mind won’t settle, ask yourself,
Where have I seen Jesus at work lately?
Write down whatever comes to mind, no matter how small:
– a moment of peace
– a kind word or smile
– an answered prayer
– a new opportunity
– just feeling Him near this week
Gratitude opens our eyes to what God is already doing and helps us trust Him with what’s still ahead. This has helped me so much recently. In our humanness, we can get caught up in what we can’t see or feel. But Jesus is always steady and faithful. He is working when we can’t find the vision or motivation.
Take a moment this week to remember all He’s done and thank Him for it!
Below, I’ve linked a few scriptures and songs that have helped ground me this month.
And if you ever need prayer or someone to talk to, my inbox is always open.
Meg 🤍
If you’re in a season of waiting, change, or just needing peace, I want to encourage you to spend time in His presence this week. Not out of pressure, but from a place of rest.
You don’t need a perfect plan — just an open heart.
Here are a few verses that have been grounding me lately:
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.”
— John 14:1–2
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”
— John 14:27
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
— Psalm 27:13–14
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
— Psalm 23:6
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in You.”
— Isaiah 26:3
Let one of these verses sink into your heart this week.
Maybe you journal what it stirs in you.
Maybe you sketch or doodle it into a prayer.
Maybe you pick up your guitar or write a poem from it.
Or maybe you simply sit still and let His peace meet you where you are.
Here are a few songs that have helped me rest in His love lately:

Let them play in the background while you breathe, reflect, or just rest.
God is near. He’s already made space for you.
And He’s not finished yet.
Love you, see you for July’s upload!
